I’m Clare; I am a native speaker and an experienced teacher with eight years of teaching experience; previously, I was a qualified senior nurse for 12 years.
I am a wife and mother of 2 children from Scotland. My family and I now live near Eindhoven, Netherlands.
My interests are reading, travelling, attending music concerts, socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family.
Teaching English
As the manager and owner of Learn English with Clare, I am passionate about teaching English as a Foreign Language. My job has given me the pleasure of teaching students from 50 different countries, from beginner level to advanced.
I use the Cambridge Method when teaching English and take a holistic approach when working with my students. We use a wide range of books and online materials during our lessons; all lesson material is provided.
My focus and support are always directed at what the students want to learn, helping build their confidence.
